Mining, Precious Metals & Stones

Vertical 06

Mining, Precious Metals & Stones

Ventra originates selected commercial relationships across mining, physical precious metals and precious stones, subject to enhanced counterparty verification, provenance requirements and applicable regulatory standards.

The market

Why this vertical works the way it does.

This vertical carries the highest counterparty risk of anything Ventra touches, and it is treated accordingly. Most approaches in the market fail basic scrutiny: undocumented origin, unverifiable authority, informal structures and intermediaries with no mandate.

Ventra engages only with documented entities, licensed operators and refinery-linked relationships. Beneficial ownership, chain of custody, sanctions exposure, responsible sourcing standards and export documentation are assessed before any discussion advances.

Disclosure is staged and evidence-led. Anonymous counterparties and informal transaction structures fall outside our scope entirely, without exception.

How we work here

01

Documented process

Credibility

Why a Ventra introduction carries weight.

Beneficial ownership, provenance, chain of custody, sanctions exposure and refinery credentials are reviewed before any introduction. In a market crowded with undocumented offers, a Ventra connection confirms that the counterparty has passed a structured legitimacy test.

Counterparties on both sides of a mandate are reviewed for authority, documentation and genuine commercial intent before any contact is exchanged. That verification is what turns an enquiry into a conversation worth having.

Typical requirements

The shape of a mandate in this vertical.

01

We are a refinery seeking documented, compliant supply relationships.

02

We require mining equipment and technical suppliers for an operating site.

03

We are seeking a commercial partnership around an operating mining asset.

Scope & standards

Enhanced due diligence applies to all precious metals, stones and mining-related transactions.

Considerations include beneficial ownership, source and provenance, chain of custody, export and import documentation, sanctions screening, responsible sourcing, counterparty verification, refinery credentials and applicable AML and KYC requirements.

Surplus & overstock

The other side of mining & metals.

Not every requirement in this vertical is new production. Ventra also places unused, overstocked and idle inventory: cancelled orders, discontinued lines, ex project equipment, spares held in warehouses and other bulk goods where demand and quality exist. Holders recover capital and remove storage and handling cost. Buyers secure volume that is already produced, already inspected and available now. Ownership, condition and documentation are verified before any lot is presented, and Ventra is compensated only on completion.
